Andrew joined Khansaheb in 2011 and is part of a wide-ranging team responsible for the development, implementation and management of our Quality, Health, Safety, Sustainability and Environmental management systems.
Andrew has a Masters degree in Environmental & Waste Management, and is a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a Registered Safety Practitioner.
Prior to joining Khansaheb Andrew worked in both the public and private sectors in the UAE, with the Abu Dhabi Sewerage Company and Aldar Laing O'Rourke. And when in the UK, he worked for the Environment Agency and Major Contractors such as Taylor Woodrow and Willmott Dixon
Andrew has over 32 years of experience in HSE and Quality, and 39 years in the construction industry, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge of safe construction practices and procedures.
Andrew's responsibilities include ensuring that safety remains the first priority of the business, providing safety and environmental leadership, and monitoring and continual improvement of the effectiveness of our existing integrated management systems.
Maintaining our QSHE systems to ensure legal compliance and our standards that continue to exceed Industry Best Practices is also part of Andrew’s responsibilities, this includes providing advice, guidance and training to management, staff, safety officers and trade operatives to ensure they understand and fulfil their safety and environmental responsibilities.
